Tambourine
Dance the tarantella to break the spell of the tarantula using a hand-crafted tambourine.
Suggested minimum age : Grade 4
Materials needed per student:
- 2 small plastic plates (school colors if possible)
- 8 pop bottle caps
- 4 eighteen inch pieces of varied colors of curling ribbon or yarn
Tools:
- permanent marker
- scissors
- large board for pounding nails
- hammer
Schedule
- Day 1 Make tambourines.
- Day 2 Learn how to dance tarentella.
- Day 3 Perform.
